i dont want ot pre-order it, i rather pick it up myself but have a copy reserved, that is more exciting then waiting for it to be delivered if u guys know how it feels. i want to do the same with Wii but i dont know if it's possible to pre-reserve it at, lets say, Best Buy? Anyone know if u can?

DC will definitly be a hit, but probably won't break records sales. If you don't get the game in the first shippment don't worry, just wait a week for the second and you'll probably get it. Wii is a different story, if you don't pre order when the time comes, chances are you probably won't get it till after Christmas. If i were you i would wait till next year cuz by then they should've work out the bugs in the first generation of Wii.

That is the point of a pre order, give them a certain amount of $$ and they will hold a copy for you. Those gift cards are as good as money and you should be able to used them to pre order anything you want. Edit: If you want to use all $50 for DC and Wii you can try, most places only want $5 for a pre order. It's really up to Best Buy and you should ask them

......what does the Wii have to do with anything here?

Wildside, you could always try EB games or a local game store, though be aware that some stores don't carry PC games (there are two EB games in my area that are the specific destinations for PC games, though they carry console games as well). They're very reliable, and the only problem i've ever seen is that people tend to reserve games there,so you'll probably want to see about reserving one,and if you can,get it as soon as possible.
