No, mechs are huge and not suited for most of the maps. Even the current big vehicles like baneblade suffer pathfinding issues on some maps, can't even imagine how mechs would fare.

No, Warhammer was meant for huge epic battles that causes an entire planet to be devestated

But relic pussified it in the name of better performance for computers and made small maps. If we had real warhammer sized battlegrounds even the best computer today would be ground to it's knees by the amount of things going on.

If it was faithful to the warhammer epic battles we would need battles along the scale of Supreme Commander, maybe larger.

After hearing that Supreme Commander is shooting for Sup. Com.2. My gut feeling was that Relic could hop on the band-wagon & expand to a much larger scale than ever before. Epic Warhammer is highly possible - if done in the same vein as Sup. Com.1 or the pending 2. Relic showed its not afraid to change and try something dicey. After Warhammer 2, then what? Relic has to meet the challanges before them to ever continue the series. Maybe a new deal could be in the works with the right publisher. Spice is variety to life! Thank you for your interesting comments as it gives me a better understanding of your beliefs & expectations. TITANS Ho!

To bad Dow 2 isn't moddable and a modder has never got the idea to create larger maps to field their mechs on so it ain't gonna happen too soon.

But the Table Top roundup mod by Zany Reaper gotz a Warhound Titan, it was sure awesome controling him despite that I didn't like the rest of the mod. Also Dany made Big Stompaz and Battle Fortresses and I saw a Reaver Titan somewhere, so somethings have already been done. You just need to search in the old glory mods.

I've heard Supcom is very demanding game especially when the unit count number into the thousands, so I don't know if that will be the best move for the DOW franchise considering some people can't even play DOW1.
