I might know how to be able to see those cutscenes. I'm not entirely sure if this will work, as i'm told their in a wierd format.

Anyway, install final liberation. Go to the folder it's installed it, might be C:\\Programfiles\Finalliberation , search the folders. My guess is that they'll be in data > Cinematics/Movies. But it would be wise to look around.

When you find the cinematics, try opening them with Windows media player or quicktime or something. Failing that go to google and search for a wma converter, it should be able to convert those files into wma for you.

And i hope that should solve your problem. If it doesn't i'll try and find something else, apparently the cinematics are ace, so I might watch them myself :)

quetzalcoatl2012It disables the smackply program that runs the cinamatics i believe, so it will skip over them and onto the game itself.
You can try smkply of newest versions too, I believe. More accurately I could answer, if I has actual game. :)
There is a way to fix Chaos Gate also but the game still crashes no matter what when the cultist fire there weapons. And i still haven't found a way to replace all the cultist in the game editor for cultist will still spawn in scripted events that can't be edited.

Can I share my little secret with you? ;) Try to _disable_ compatibility mode for game. :))) (I make a little experiment. Crash is caused by virtual registry for Win98. Unfortunately, exactly this allows you to save game options (resolutions, volume, etc.). I suggest use registry directly after first initialization (initial values must be written, though) and then disable and don't touch "compatibility" tab at all. :)
