On mission 4, go north not east. Keep calling the goofy ultramarines. Go play with eldar for a minute, but get them in a place with enough troops to be ok, and let them alone. On mission 5... The trick is to not build a generator fast!!! Build turrets and listening posts everywhere you can, but leave enough room for the baneblade to move about. Build a whatever makes a baneblade near the middle, so if it gets destroyed, one can be made right in the center closest to all points of contact. Build Leman russ tanks. Everything else is worthless. Have the bane blade once made go attack chaos. After you finish will all the turrets, build generators but not completely about 95%. Once you have all the generators at 95%, and all LR tanks and a baneblade ready, start completing the generators fast. Once that is done, the necrons come. Use LR tanks and Baneblade to destroy them, and keep a tech near. Enjoy.
Mission 5? I didn't build ANY tanks in that, i just used those weapons from the Titan.
ROFL, I never used them.
You didn't use the Titan Weapons? You must have had one hell of a battle on your hands :p
The best way to do it is to put a squad on every entrance so they can hold of the small atking forces while you get the generators online, then when the necron come youll have no trouble. The Baneblade is not needed because one Titan Weapon can kill a Monolith in two shots, and whipes out a Necron Warrior squad in one hit.
i didnt even think you could actually afford to get a baneblade (not enuff req!) and i didnt use tanks apart from the good old basilisks. i took down each base one by one, and then reinforced my squads for them to get slaughtered by the necrons (just a diversion, the titan weapons are AWESOME!)
oh and the titan brings back memories from the Final Liberation days
