I have noticed that people are always complaining about PotDs over at DoWFiles. Here I just want to know what it is people look for in screenshots in order for it to be a good one.
I just want it to be cool. That´s all I want

I dunno, Depends on the people viewing them at the time of posting I guess?? cause the way I see it some people want humorous screenies some like 'em edgy while others are all for epic shots..so you get flamers and praisers at the same time. You just can't please everybody these days....
One guy wants to see 100 units in a screen, the other wants something funny and another wants a cool battle. There will always be someone complaining.
EDIT: Sorry, got an error and clicked Post Reply twice. The post's the next one down.
Unless it's an inherently comic picture which relies upon details in the interface, utter elimination of any unneeded things like 'Game Paused', prompts to the left of the screen, the interface and the cursor.
Only if you're going for something epic, of course.
To me a good screenchot is when you capture a pic of something that you dont normaly see whilst playin, like someone in a wierd pose with a caption in it. I saw a good one which showed the dude who loads the shells onto the basalisk and it had a caption "this dude seriously needs a girlfriend" thats probly my alltime fave
[COLOR=Black]Ok, A good screen shot is something you can say " wow that looks sick" or " ouch, that farseer just got a warscreythe throgh her chest" but it can also be something intresting enough.
But what I am sick of is getting e-mails of 10 squads via 1 unit or a baneblade vs scouts,
