Ok thn. But I play the same game as you do, and yet there is ALWAYS a lagger in 3v3 games. I myself get kicked often too, miracilously only when I'm winning the game (said having 3 Carnifexes at the enemies base ore he has 10 points remaining) smells like some cheat since I even got the graphics on medium now while my computer can easily handle ultra. As I said AM are more expensive then DM and will mow them down trough the fact that the AM can only jump 1 squad. And that's just marines. Eldar ore Tyranids then? And I heared from somewone that Banshees used to own pretty hard but that this was reverted in a path. To bad actually. They schould make excellent close combat units especially their damage values schould be high with an exarch ore without.

The problem with Banshees during the early stages of the Beta were two things. 1: How well the Exarch was taking out vehicles with its upgraded weapon. 2: Knockdown from the Banshees leaping, especially when against retreating squads.

The patch nerfed not only 'shees, but all melee based AV weapons, and Eldar in general.

The worst things though, were that it also brought an unbelievable increase to requisition rates, especially in 3v3. It basicly took walker & vehicle spam to new levels. It also turned the Hive Tyrant's Venom Cannon into a rapid-fire "pwn all" weapon.

The stupid req rate was sorted for release and afaik, so was the Hive Tyrant's VC.

^the old banshee problems are todays nid problems.

3. Only with Assault Marines. And I'm talking early game. Evryone just has two squads out yet.

You play marines and you are complaining? best 1 set up squad 2 awesome squads against set up stuff (shotgun scouts+assaults) units that aren't made of paper. not even mentioning hero choices

go play eldar for a while.

What have they got. If you go warlock - you have warpthrow - as a hero choice

units in t1 paper thing Gu's, which admittedly are awesome with the upgrade. Still to get a grenade under a setup squad you have to do some arc dancing

your own set up squad (which is worse than devs - no focus fire ability and again paper thing)

rangers - your best anti setup unit - but they cost 25 power so....

banshees, which are made of letter paper in t1.

So please go complain elsewhere.

marines 2 direct per unit counters, both of which are easy to use eldar 2 situational counters )one of which is extremely tricky to use) 1 hero counter

Yeah now it's just either - fex VC ravener+adrenal warriors HT+knock back gaunts+never suppressed rippers.

Beta shees were the epitome of tabletop melee representation. A squad that did nothing else but act as bodies for the sergeant who did all the damage.

Lol@ Eldar. I really do pity the poor bastards. I mean seriously, they finally get a decent tier balance, some nice spiffy units, and solid bo's. Only to be nerfed yet again into subsimission by Relic's merciless patching..

People have always hated Eldar for no stupid reason other than that it's a very hard race to master and unlike SM, which anyone can abuse, Eldar aren't a simple "Oh wtf, I do that too so it doesn't matter he spammed tacts at me" unlike Eldar which are more like..

"OMFG, wtf did he do. ffs imba"

Or something like that. My point is that since most people know the basic "spam tacts", not many people know how to micro a falcon and take down a dread with mininal damage.

To be honest, if I had a choice between falcon and wraithlord, I'd almost always pick a wraithlord.

Sure you can't kite a lord as well as a falcon. But, while the falcon won't ever get damaged by the dready, unless you're lucky with a crit you can kite across the entire map and still not kill the dread. Whereas if you have a wraith with a brightlance, you can get of two, 3 shots if lucky at the dread and that gives you enough of an advantage to actually trash the dread. Not to mention the wonders which happen when the wraith has fortune and the dread is doomed :P

But yeah, most eldar games right now revolve around 3xGu and depending on the map swap one of the Gu's for a plat.

Then if the enemy goes on a set up spam, get one rangers.

If playing farseer get fortune armor and doomblade, all upgrades on the Gu's and get into tier 2.

I usually only go two GU's and a plat. Then tech to either a wraithlord or if I can, straight to T3. Eldar really need a buff for T2. On Spiders at least.

I don't play Farseer so I wouldn't know much of her abilities. I usually just go for the Exarch and micro him around. Haven't gone Rangers in a while either but the last time I did, I only got three and they still owned.

The farseer is awesome. Probably best support hero in game Guide|doom|fortune can really save your day big way. And yeah 2Gu|1 plat is the second standard build
