And here's a little icing on the cake... So far the official races are Orks, Eldar, Space Marines, and oh yes, Tyranids. Sequel to Game of the Year, and hopefully it's successor.

We have an entire DoW forum about this game, so I've moved it to where it belongs. ;)

It's a great game, I'm just afraid my rig isn't going to be able to play it without some upgrades. I just don't like the fact they included Tyranids. I mean, ugh they're like a mix between Orks and Starcraft's Zerg

Please don't say that again, Starcraft completely, 100%, in it's entirety, ripped Tyranids from WH40k, the board game has been out since the 80's. Tyranids are a fine addition to the game since Tyranids are heavily involved with the 40k universe and it's history, without the Tyranids, i feel, and probably tons of other people feel, it's like getting slapped in the face (before when they never had Tyranids in the game). If anything, i would feel that necrons didn't belong because they were far too new, and although i loved them, they just didn't feel all that important, along with the Tau. But the Tyranids, they've practicaly been there from the start.

although leaving chaos in an expansion *so you can get all 4 chaos diaties* is a good move i still would have perfered a different race. like maybe IG. just because you cant properly do tyranids and not have it imba. mean while with chaos it works out just fine. i hope SM whoop ass in this one just to counter the tyranids. dont get me started on the eldar. but the orks sounds like their gunna be exactly the same in this one as in the last. and thats a good move. they damn near perfected orks in the last one. i dont see why you need to fix something thats not broken. the IG would have been cool to have in this one. i was looking forward to moar tanks and even more 'sploshunz.

IG were annoying because their primary units were completely useless and were only a threat at all, when they actualy had vehicles. They made the orks balanced, and their just like Tyranids, they swarm everywhere, so i think if they can do orks, they can do Tyranids just as well. Also, if IG were included, then it would have 2 human races, making it a tad bland. Besides, who DOESN'T want to see a carnifex go face to face with an eldar tank, or a horde of Tyranids go up against the Space Marines?!

I dont. Heh. Just Kidding. But seriously, Some of the tyranids look a bit overpowered. I mean, one of them pulls a Scorpion and just yanks a guy over and stabs him. Hopefully we get a way to counter that shit.

It was probably a special power and can only be done to one unit and takes time to recharge.

Oh please, like the Space Marines don't have tons of exploits/BS moves. I mean, the necron warriors didn't even cost anything to make! And they were as strong as space marines! (not sure if that was patched or not)
