Sl4sh;4786363As a avid CoH player, it did not have dumbed down maps...
gah don't remind me.
The maps were TOO BIG for my tastes. A Long ass time to get to the killing and the SP mission took DECADES.
I didn't hate the CoH maps, I actually liked the complexity but sometimes it made me rip my hair out due to the amount of time it took to finish a single SP mission.
What'd you do? Spam artillery? I mean sure they take a little time, but would you rather they be simpled 10 minute missions? I actually liked how long they took, made the campaign feel more epic.
It is a matter of how you approach the missions tactically, for me missions took 20-30 minutes of action packed fun.
I loved the missions.
For the Emperor! Knights of Caliban!

it took me 50 mins with the warboss mission beacuse I didn't read the bonus Intel lawl!

I flew through the campaign, except on Angle Forge, I lost all my guys there once when:
I kited with Tarkus and only lost him at first, but eventually managed to get owned by the rest of the Nids.
Yea Angel forge was freakin hard. I just kept my commander alive and attacked several times using a relay beacon to reinfoce, thining down the attackers time by time. I also activated all the artillerie gun stuff.
