Anyone else getting sick of the current trend of advertisments.

These ads that overlay the page, making it useless until the ad passes.

These audio ads, which turn your speakers on when you least expect it.

These popup ads which do not allow you to close them, unless of course you know ALT-F4.

These popups that hide themselves, which have no purpose but to constantly pop up more ads.

I submit that companies who participate in these kind of activities deserve to be hacked, as this is what they are doing to our computers.

Popups are bad enough, but what about those ads that overlay the screen, making a site useless till it runs it's course? And the audio?

I've tried pop up killers, I have yet to find any effective.

The "Esc" key does the trick for me on stoping audio. Worth a try.

Lets put it another way, have you ever left Kazaa up, and then all of a sudden an ad with audio comes on waking you up in the middle of the night?????
