Well im working on my first map since Kingpin days.Its all coming back to me fairly fast.What i need to know is after compiling my work,how do i load it to view? I tried putting the bsp and map files into my Wildwest folder and typing in game console /map (mapname) but it just says it couldnt find the bsp file?I dont have to create a pk3 file to view it do i?I dont recall ever having to do that so im sure its something very simple i am not doing.
Squint, You just leave everything where it is (map and script files in the maps folder and the shader in the scripts folder) then run a compile. Launch Wild West and hit the ~ to bring up the console, then type /set sv_pure 0 /devmap mapname Thats all
Ya Iggy helped me out on Teamspeak i was copying and pasting the files into my main rtcw directory and trying to run them from there instead of running from the wolfdev directory:uhm: I knew it had to be something stupid i was or wasnt doing lol
