I was setting my network at home when during a reboot , I saw that the RAM was working at 100 MHz (it is 133 MHz Mtek ). I was in a hurry and opened the bios setup and set BOTH SDRAM and CPU to 133 ... and the darn computer just went dead !!! Now I canĀ“t even reboot ! The computer just power on and nothing else happens ! Not even a single blip ! Did I busted my CPU ? Or the MoBo ? ANY help will be most welcome .

You need to reset your BIOS. wink.gif

Just remove the battery for a minute and it should work then. smile.gif

There are 2 solder points next to your battery, They need to be shorted to clear your CMOS but make sure you unplug your machine first. Since removing the battery didn't work mabe this will. wink.gif

This always worked for me.

Take your cpu out and turn the PC on, Leave it for 5 secs and turn it off Put the cpu back and power up

Give it a go

I did as u said ... took the CPU out , left only the memory and video card , power it on and left for 5 sec. The MoBo started to make a weird noise (beeping in 2 distincs tones) and then I turned off ... and still nothing ..

HELP ...
