LMAO... thats war and politics. That's perfectly legal
Games are supposed to make the average Joe go on a killing spree (more than he did before). Like I said, I don't see the logic in someone thinking its perfectly alright to go around with a Colt shooting people because they played a WW2 game... or going around with a lightsaber calving people up because they played a Star Wars game... or detonating quantum torpedoes on the hull of one of your friend's starships because he played a Star Trek game... and so on... but apparently it makes everyone into a gun-toting lunatic. Because you can take part in it in a virtual world, you're obviously going to do it in real life. Apparently. I didn't mean that you're going to go off and start WW3 because you think that Medal of honor needs a sequel :D. Although I think that right now its internet chat-rooms that are taking hits from the morale-infected media, what with all these child killings of late. Although if you venture in one of those places once to find out what all the fuss is about, you're unlikely to venture in there again... ban them all, thats what I say. They create a proven problem. Video games have only got an assumed consequence.
news flash, I already started world war 3, the nukes should launch in about 3 minutes..............
as for the war thing, the Huns and Mongols destroyed things for fun (as did the Vandles) it may be "legal", but it still shows that people have warped minds

I think there was a little more to it than destroying things for fun... though not much beyond expanding their territories. Even now wars are fought, with varying reasons, and I guess that any murderous act is fairly 'warped', but at the end of the day, we're animals. Most animals fight each other, some kill each other. Its more instinctive than cognative. Again, I think the argument about games is that they provoke senseless violence. Y'know, just grabbing some random person off the street and stabbing them. Most of us wouldn't do that, games are supposed to change that moral.

Unfortunately, I find that I am unable to contribute intelligently to this conversation from a moralistic standpoint.... since I love violent video games WAAAYY too much. In other words, I'm too biased to take a seat in the jury box.
