Thanks for your support!
I'm not familiar with maya. Hewster recommends that models be made with GMax. However any modeler that can save in an MD3 or ASE format will work. After that it is up to you to get it to the most optimized state your model program can achieve.
Be aware that moddeling is not for the faint of heart. But if you are willing to put the work into it, there is always a job out there for ya!
Good luck and again Welcome!
w00t! Welcome Tuco! Hey, do ya think you could post some pictures of it here?
Cheers, Solid Snake :drink:
As said, nothing special, but it's my first try of modelling anything w/o step-by-step instructions. Some things are missing, but I'm gonna add them ASAP. Also, I think I'll shorten the butt of the gun (it's not as big as it looks in this perspective but anyways. More pictures coming soon. Still WiP
Oooooo It looks nice so far Tuco! Good job!

NICe Tuco I'm actually trying to skin right now, if I can find some spare time. But in a few weeks I've got holidays so I'll work on some skins then, just for fun, see if you use them, i'll try to make a female wildwest skin or something. But for sofar tuvo's rifle looks nice, just ad a few details and it's awesome!
I've had a go at modeling myself, and can't do it. I'm into mapping at the moment, made a start on my first map. There is something i would like in the map if someone could possibly do for me. I would like a cannon. If anyone can do one, it would be very much apprectated. :)
cannon? I can try. I guess it'd be easier than a rifle, since there's not so many details there. I think I'll do that be4 the rifle since it's needed ;) Btw, if you could supply me with some pictures of what the cannon should look like... Just hope that maya md3 export plugin will work :\ Else I'll need 2 another proggies to export/import/export stuff.
Btw, should the cannon be animated in any way or static just for show? Cos I dunno how to animate anything (yet). Basic form
Oooooo . Good job Tuco! That looks awesome so far!
