well hello, id thought i post the comments i made earlier by mail ; id like to post some comments about some things beeing realized for 1.6 i dunno what u do with em but here goes if i join the beta test server on scheduled times , and goto teamspeak , its practically empty only me and English rose attended on ts , not that i blame anyone but testing is the best of both worlds innit :) ( there where 5 people on the server 2 on ts) no offence given to the develop people but u can showup on ts and tell us what to focus on , and im honest , i got @*)#@ bored reasons i got bored ; the unlagged module is not working and the ammount of gameplay is not up to snuff if u get my idea "exeption gameplay though with 167 ping" :confused: lowest ping on my behalve in usa = 80 using Quake3 insta-unlagged so i think that needs a bit o tuning last but not least : whats the rubbish about -18 timenudge ? testing wallhacks are we? timenudge is responsetime so i fail to see that whatsover doing with it its like upping he sv_fps im sure modem users appriciate -18 but broadband max -20 +20 , is a hard variable , every connection has its own timenudge , i allways use 0 to compare lagg not to generate it example . connected to iggy's server with TN -28 ping 167 netgraph off the scale TN -1 Netgraph normal spikes TN 2 Netgraph easy , no spikes solid hit
example . connected to iggy's server with TN -28 ping 167 netgraph off the scale TN -1 Netgraph normal spikes TN 2 Netgraph easy , no spikes solid hit compared to the 1.5 the 1.6 now generates +50 ping on every connection , so servers with maxping on should adjust this by 50 + ive been told that the anti lag code is (the ping) is not a hard value so basicly u still have same old ping only looks higher... this is with sv_fps 40 and rate 9000 / ping difference 50 solid results affected ,windows 2000 server ping jumps on sv_fps 20 and rate 6000 (default) ping difference 50/55 odd with 60 bursts:mad: note its not connection wise but the anti-lag-code
