I would like to see WildWest ported over to Enemy Territory, i believe this would benefit WW greatly. You would have a much larger audience, and the added features ET can supply. when i have spoken to ww players on a server about this, most say "Enemy Territory has to many noobs".

Ok when Enemy Territory came out just over a year ago, yes there were loads of noobs, but you are going to get that with any new game. Enemy Territory now has a good community with allot of very good players, no noobs anymore. :)

I just needed to say somthing on the subject as allot of RTCW players think people who play ET are noobs :uhm:. If you have seen me or my mate who plays WildWest, you will know not all ET players are noobs. My mate who got me into WildWest is the best WW player i have seen, he has 2 names Happy109 and LittleDevil.

Would WildWest take allot of work porting to Enemy Territory?, is that the main reason why it's not been ported?.

Thanks J4g

Howdy and welcome to the WildWest! We have had numerous discussions about porting to ET. While this may be an option, we have also been looking at pursuing a retail version of The WildWest and have been researching the various engines that are available. Should we decide not to go retail, then a port to Enemy Territory could certainly reappear on our radar. I don't think we have entirely ruled out ANY game/engine, but we are not looking at porting to ET right this moment, though that can always change. Porting to ET would require some type of anti-cheat code, since I don't believe ET has PunkBuster support as of this moment. Thanks for your input, and we invite you to come game with us in The WildWest! If it were to go retail, would everything be of a higher standard? models etc?

Yep, no more blocking looking boulders and stuff...we would use a much more updated engine than Wolf.

Thanks for the feedback, i'm glad you have considered the Enemy Territory option. Good luck in the retail adventure, i would buy WildWest thats for sure.

I want to play a 50 player WildWest server, ET has the audience to do it, that would be fun. :) Also would you like to have a campaign system added to WildWest?, just like the one in ET.

Thanks J4g

I would buy Wild West too. Would it be only multiplayer or have a single player option too? ;)

It would most likely have both SP and MP.

Ignacio, all I have to say is if it will make the game look and play better, the heck with RtCW. You guys did a very good job in this mod, Wild West is a very good idea for a mod. I never thought of Wild West as a mod. I use to play this all the time, and now Im starting again but I keep getting a error on the install about a 16 Bit Subsystem that its not suitable for MS-DOS...

So do what works best for you guys... DualityJosh
