as spoken in TS id like a compitition mode setting explanation: when set on , players who join the server does not see any1 playing other then a blank screen .. people on the team have a captain who can spectate invite them .. this is usefull for clangames so people cannot spy on eachother on ts or opposite team.. i know this could lead to problems but then u have a function as say_world or something , this way u can speak in spectate mode ( this is disabled in compotition mode) so people joining the server have to be known before entering the game like a clan member ( i might see teambalance 1 in here) i also like the q3 ctf mode more then the RTCW mode ,aka taking an objective to anothers base (a flag) but this will speed up the game drasticly

Good idea but I don't think WW is a real clangame, the current clans are more playing for fun, I'd say deathmatch :D
deathmatch would definatly be fun. sometimes you just feel like killing things, not returning a bible ;)
There's a DM only map being tested, and I think the mode works with other maps. :)
then you'll enjoy one particular map when version 1.6 is released! :nodding:

Mmmmm, Correct me if I'm wrong (Gringo, Hew or whoever) but like adding an extra script to the map which stripps out the objectives will transfer that map into a deathmatch, right?

Actually, I shouldn't have said anything about 1.6 since I'm not on the Dev Team. But, I guess I should clarify that it is TDM, not DM. :)
correct, it's a team deathmatch map (you may have noticed the pic's in the mapping forum) but any of the maps which also have a cp (check point) could be seen as a team deathmatch too (i.e. hunt each other instead of going for the flags)
I also belive that hew is working on a TDM mode so maybe that will automatically remove the objective flags for CP mode?? not sure.
Another mode I'd like to see (not for 1.6 however) is a "brawl mode" were the only weapons are your fists/feet and anything you may pick up to toss or swing. Too much work to squeeze it into the 1.6 release but I'm sure we all could use a good old fassioned brawl every once in a while :D
