Jeez it's embarassing to ask this.Make fun of me if you must. How do you tell who's on the oppossing team?In the demo there was always a little red or blue script above the players heads.Did I inadvertently toggle this off or what? The people on the servers were complete jerk-offs and of no help.Like little freakin' children.:"I know how to play and you don't!Naaaa!"Wish I could reach through the screen and round kick'em in their bloody teeth.

Yes,I am aware of that, but where are the colors shown? On the mini-map?When I'm looking at some cat right in front of me should there be text directly above his head or do I have to check the map? Also,is there any way of knowing what team your on besides hitting the tab key and looking for your name?

Hi Stone,

The names above the characters heads will only appear when you are pointing straight at them. Also the names will appear at different distances depending on what you are armed with or flying/driving. It is also possible for the server to change the distances the name tags will appear. Also in close combat it is useful to learn the uniforms, cause if you have severl players in a small area it is quite possible for the name tags to overlay one another. I don't believe it's possible for the player to change this setting.

Hope this helps

Thanks man.I figured it out.For some reason, on the first map I played, the labels didn't come up at all.Haven't had that problem since though.I have had the problem of getting my ass handed to me.The maps our so freakin' huge and there is so much going on, much of the time I'm unsure exactly what should do,Suppose I'll figure it out as I play.

Yea... knowing the colors of the skins help much...

Maybe you just have Labels turned off in the options menu ... just look around a bit... and see if u can find something there...

And no question is stupid... If they wont awnser it in game... just ask here... thats the purpose of the forum....

Speaking of names only appearing when you are pointed directly at them...

Is this the same when flying and getting a crosshair?

Well when im in a plane I find it easier to use the behind the plane view to bomb and the ****pit view to dogfight. Not much but hope that answered your question.
