If theres one thing I cannot stand online or offline, it is arrogance. When I kill someone and they say "Whoops musta been a flook" or "You didnt deserver that!", it just makes me pissed. I mean yeah if someone kills me and I think they shouldnt have I think "Damn whyd I let that happen" but I don't say "OMFG IVE BEEN NOOBED!". Now maybe I'm going beyond BF1942 here, but in alot of online games people are considering themselves to be so damn good that whenever they lose they think it was just a flook. Well let me put it this way: You're gonna die sometimes. This is most prevelant on Counter-strike. I personally hate the game now. Because of the people, not the game. It's sad really. And as with every game, people are being accused of hacking in BF1942 now... I've even been accused because my score was 20 kills and 2 deaths. I'm good, jeeez. Not to mention those were mostly MINE kills... O well.

Yeah, right on. If I kill someone and they reckon it was a fluke, I kill em again, and again, and again etc till they gotta admit they're just useless

have fun is what I say.

You just have to remember that there are wacko's out there and it is not just in BF1942 or other online games but in all aspects of life. Some people are just not satisfied until they have someone or something to compare themselves to. I just sit back and laugh when I see someone get pissed because they thought that they shouldn't have gotten killed. All I can do is picture a 12 year old trying to come out with one liners in the chat boxes about how good they are. Its truly SAD... :smack:

The worse for calling cheaters and arrogance IMO seems to be the worse on clan servers. Because many clans think they are "pros" and should "own noobs" all the time:uhm: (not all calns of course, but some) Remember, if the enemy takes the time to type a response to you for killing him, youre doing a damn good job:moon:

I'm in a clan which doesn't entitle me to rag on people if they kill me. There are just a lot of angy people out there. This game is all about teamwork which gets lost on a lot of people. Everyone is so worried about their personal stats.

How about eliminating all personal stats, and only have a single team stat? just a dumb idea. But it sure would get rid of rambos goin for the top score:lol: but i'm sure it would'nt stop whining.:( Oh well, I find enemys whining is a sign of victory:assimilate:

Not a bad idea, but you would still have complaints. I don't mind the personal stats as long as you have teamwork in mind.

How about when you are playing and you request artillery because you know someone is in a vehicle but yet every time you call it in he/she does nothing about it. I say get the hell out of that vehicle unless you are going to use it for what it is. Sorry, this wasn't part of the main topic but I just had to get that off my chest. I feel better now. LOL

Most of the time I find this the other way around. I'll be lined up and call for a target. And not on of the 4-5 stupid ass snipers will give me one.

This one time I called for a target and I got one. This was on Miday and I was in the battleship. When I right clicked to see my target. Guess what I see. My own battleship in the crosshairs.

It's so pathetic, arrogance. Like I'm playing just to pass the time, no intention of "owning n00bs" or "clan killing" but just for fun. I go into one server and by pure chance I kept killing this guy. It was all chance. Then after about 2 or 3 times I kill him he starts getting mad. "YOU F*CKIN HACKER I'LL GET YOU!" etc. About 20 minutes into the game I'm a medic and I'm healing everyone then he comes and kills me while I'm healing my engineer. Then he bursts into a huuuge celebration. "HAHA THAT'S RIGHT BIATCH I GOT YO ASS. YO MINE NOW!" Then 3 minutes later again I killed him by chance, he just went crazy. He started TKing everyone then got kicked. I don't know if that's arrogance or just insanity. But here's a really arrogant one. You know how in RTCW you have the cheer voice command? Now not to sound immodest but I am pretty good at RTCW. So I just do my thing then when I get killed, it depends on who killed me, they burst into cheering. They keep cheering till they get spam locked. I mean if people are this obsessed with a GAME they must have issues in real life.
