people people, this is Ea, not some consumer care organisation. Having said that, the map will be out sometime today, and best not to worry about things like the time it comes out. More importantly, where;s the bf1942files server? I want to play in the big league!

Well, EA happens to be in The PACIFIC TIME ZONE.... which happens to be the LAST MAJOR TIME ZONE ON EARTH.... It's the last time zone that turns to friday, it turns to friday later in the Pacific Time zone then in ANY other time zone. I mean, on the Official BF1942 forums there are Norwegions, Englishmen, Swedish and other Europeans complaining about how it's not there yet (And you'd think they'd give the British it first, seeing as how it's the Battle of britain). Strangely enough, people in Europe that don't speak English as a first language seem to speak it better then Americans do... go figure. So anyway, be PATIENT, this is EA for pete's sake! It will be out today, but the meaning of today is different around the world, so yes, it might come on Saturday morning for somepeople, or late at night for Eastern and Central time zone people. But BE PATIENT. Until then, think about how long us Nintendo fans had to wait for Metroid Prime..... WAITING A FEW HOURS for BOB will be nothing compared to that.

I never got to play metriod prime, and this might be a divertion.....but super metroid on the snes. THE SCARIEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED, you can take all your horror movies and shove 'em up your jackse, because develing into the depths of planet zebes without having a clue what's going on scared the crap out of me, I'm so proud I own such a superb piece of video games history, I still have my snes, and every now and again super mario allstars and metroid will seep out of the draw. I'm really sorry to go off topic, but for me the 16-bit console was the golden era of gaming, mabey it's just me who grew up with it, but the gameplay of some of those games was just incredible. Donkey kong, Mario, Metroid...to relate to the subject, I'm not sure any game like bf or hl could top the joy I got from playing those. Incredible. Battle of Britain? Give me Mario world! (Actually don't I own it, give me battle of Britain, but I appreciate mario world all thw same.

Stupid Time Zones.... they should come up with a universal time zone... evven though us people in the US will probably mark it as the Metric system and not use it.
