Anyone know of where I might me able to download a manual for 1942. I bought a used copy of BF1942 and there was no manual. I know most of it but I need to know a couple of extra things. ie: I am in ship gun or artty and someone requests arty. How do I shoot at thier target? I am in sub and want to go to periscope depth. How do I go to periscope depth and use the periscope?

Thanks Canadian

Right click when someone calls for artillery;) To submerge the sub use the up and down arrows.:agreed:

Used copy?! LoL! The games only like a couple months old at best. Just look around where you DLed your warez from for a manual, haha.

Thanks for help. No I didnt download a pirated copy. I bought this at EB for 54 bucks Canadian. It was previously owned. I guess the previous owner burned a copy and kept the manual

Cmon guys,

Everybody who doesn't have a manual is not necessarily a pirate. I also purchased my copy second hand through an online auction site, fortunately it had the manual (I asked before I paid).

It's true Canadian, the manual does suck big time. It's only 31 pages and smaller than a readers digest (much). While it says how to get to the artillery interface it doesn't tell you much on how to use it, also the sub is barely covered, just up and down arrows to dive and surface. I just skimmed the manual but you just need to practice with artillers.

have fun

Well he could have meant Electronic Boutique, they sell second hand games. The point with online auctions is you get it cheaper cause you are taking a bit of a risk (got mine from sold.com btw) which is OK if you are short of cash. I saved $30 on my copy, which is a lot in Australia.

it does sound a little fishy to me. all the eb stores i have been in dont even accept computer games that have been opened as returns or exchanges, much less sell used copies of them. but of couse this is the us, with their rampant extortionists and selfish people wanting to get their "well-earned" moneys worth.

Now that's interesting isn't it. I was just in an EB the other day and they had signs on the wall saying "your old games welcome as trade in" but then again this is Australia, so it may be different. (Also in Canada maybe but I don't know about that).
