I want to know if there's any way to allow more than 99.9fps in this game. I know most games have a fps limit, and normally have some command that you can raise that limit to allow higher fps. Does anyone know if this is possible here? I figured it was the limit when it's just solid 99.9 and not really moving much otherwise it would flucuate pretty wildly.

After 60fps your eyes can't tell the difference.
This is probably true, but I want to be able to let the fps flow as fast as they can, even if it's just to see the numbers. There are others like me as superflious as it may seam. I just remember there being little tweaks in the console of other multiplayer games that "unlock" or allow for higher fps (i.e, set.maxfps 500), or something like that. If I had a refresh rate that was higher than 75 @ 1600x1200 I would want that too. I doubt there is any commands for max fps though. It's not in the console list. How can I make a command for it?

Replace the "#" with a number of FPS you would like to have the game engine try to enforce. Eg: renderer.lockfps 100
This line can also be placed in the VideoDefault.con file. Thats the best your going to get. As far as I recall, BF1942's lockfps setting default is 100. So logicly if that is the case, if your not achieving 100 FPS off the bat, your not going to.
Hey thanks. I'm going to set it to 200 just cause I'll never get that so it'll make a good high limit. It is the limit correct, you don't have to be able to achieve 200fps. If 100 is the default, I'm sure they're are many that don't get it and they still play. Oh, I enabled vertical sync and my fps were locked at the refresh rate I play at (1600x1200 @ 75hz). It locked it to 75fps. Interesting as well. I'm going to see what I can do with Vsync off. Thanks again.
Whooooaaaahhhh! Yes, it worked. With my rig it averages about 150 but does hit 199fps occasionally. The game is soooo fast now. Wow. Thanks alot. That was the coolest thing. I knew there had to be something like that. You have to disable vertical sync though or it limits you to your monitor refresh rate. Just for comparison, my rig's in my sig.
