here are my suggestions to make finding files on bf1942files.com easier first there should be a seperate place for texturesets like ones from mericless or custom ones also i think seperating the official maps from the custom maps would be good too i also think for skins it would be good if there was a section for each weapon, each tank, players from each theater i hope you will use my suggestions to make bf1942files.com a better place
i like the way it is please dont change it i have this site as my home page :D
There is already a section for official releases on the left menu, just click on "official releases" (what else?) and it will take you straight to the "official releases"!
It can be hard to seperate them the way you want cause some mods include their own maps, skins and vehicles, and havign so may different sections (one for every tank? does that include cusotm tanks created for mods?) would be damn confusing. I never hae any trouble finding my way around. The other thing is, maintaning a site with so many sections will get very difficult.
Leave it as it is, I more than am happy with it.

well i had to reformat my pc and and reinstall bf1942 it took my FOREVER to get the files i used to have back the mods that include their own maps and skins should go into a mod section or a skin pack
does that include cusotm tanks created for mods?)
i'm not sure i understand what that means please explain and i dont think it's that hard to seperate rifle skins from knife skins and sherman skins from tiger skins etc
Not clear enough? What I mean is this. DC has its own tank models, so does Trench Rats, that's at least eight new tank models that can be skinned by third parties if they wished, do they each have their own section? If not where do you put the extras ppl may make for that mod? Plus more mods coming along. Where, for instance, do you put the stuff from Galactic Combat, a new section for each new vehicle?
Why did it take yo uso long? I have all my stuff archived on my PC, and much of it on CD as backup, did you have to redownload all your stuff? How will changing the site layout make that better? Or did you just not remember where everything was?
The layout of the site seems clear and easy to use to me, I don't really see the problem however I suppose other ppl have the right tp disagree.

make a galatic combat category for their stuff
