Register your game. If they did generate your cd-key and your not registered your f***ed.

how does registering your game keeps your cd key safe? i would like to know because i always register but i never see the benefit of it besides getting your e-mail full of even more junkmail

also it could be that somebody went to the place where you bought your game before you bought it and opened the box and wrote the cd key down (i hope i'm not giving anyone ideas) thats why you have to make sure your copy is factory sealed and not just taped , as is the case when emplyees find the box opened but everything is in there ..

good thinking venom, thats how i got my legit road to rome cd key today. the keygen wasnt working at all. and i agree with what you say about regestering a game. its total bullshit, register your game and sometimes they will enter you in a drawing for a free game or some crap like that. meanwhile your inbox explodes from all the spam you get. if we could rid the net of spam ill bet we could all get 25% more speed when downloading or surfing the net. but it would probably be easyer to find an honest politican.

Hal i was just playing with you on DC server-"you bitch",did this just happen?I did read somewhere that there was a trend of "kids" going into stores and popping open the box and stealing the codes since the smart people who publish the games seem to put your code on the outside of the jewel case.If that is what happened to you ,.... I think the possibilty of a key-gen doing this is less than the above scenario.Hope it works out for ya

I saw a few used copies of BF1942 and a few other games which has CD keys on the back in Electronics Botique, I even told one of the workers they should put a sticker overtop of that part. People do'nt have to write it down, some can memorize it by looking at it and walking out of the store. And yes I have heard about kids going into places like Wal-mart where it lacks proper survailence around computer/vidgame/elecronics section where they can quietly pop open the box.

And I had this once happen to me in RTCW when I first bought the game, telling me my CD-key was in use but it went away after a couple weeks, I wasn't sure what to do back then. And I never register with EA, I think it's bullcrap.
