look if i start the mod and select a map the map loads till the end and then it just exits the game what do i need to do ?
Get rid of it and play desert combat. Cis isnt all that popular as dc is and always will be.
Never say never lad. DC definitely is a good mod but it's folly to think it will be the only popular one out there. Mods like Forgotten Hope and Black Hawk Down look almost equally professional and will definitely get a large following.
Band of Brothers will too.

Dont dismiss the idea that there wont be other mods that are just as good as DC. I think there are two GTA3 mods that are going, and if there made correctly, that would be soo bad ass. THat is one of the most addictive games for the PS2.
undead_psycho...you probably need to download a patch for that mod that is v1.31 compatible.
