hey i do this all the time, go into a diff view, like the front view, he looks hella funny with arms flailing, i love loading up a heli with bots then jumping out halfway to enemy base it is sooo funny, fallling, then watching a bot filled heli crash :D :naughty:
Going high is just so much easier when you use a jet. In DC the jets can't stall even when going straight up like Crusader already mentioned so you can go as high as you like.
And about the chopper pilots who bail out at high altitude, there are things worse than that........far far worse.
Like a chap who pilots a chopper and bails out at low altitude the moment he gets shot at and his chopper takes 50% damage giving you no chance to save the chopper, resulting in an uncomfy groundhugging.
Or the idiots who keep flying choppers and crash two mins after they have taken of, only to come back and try again, failing once more.
One day I was playing Iwo Jima and this one guy just keeps getting the Blackhawk. Even when he had taken a Harrier he would bail out two secs after taking off when the Blackhawk would spawn. Now the problem is he was an awful pilot. I mean really if you play the game as a chopperpilot and you end up with 0 kills and 24 deaths in a 30 min game you know you're doing something wrong.
He just didn't seem to grasp the concept of the Blackhawk being a transport helicopter meant for transporting troops aka more than 1 or 2 people. Normally I don't get angry with smacktards but in this case the chap was lucky FF was off otherwise I would have started to hunt him down for the remainder of the rounds.
