Most likely not, the controls will most likely be like the ones in bf1942 s.weapons

A: If you’ve played any of the Mods with helicopters, those helicopters are essentially using airplane physics. You’ll find that they are ok, but not really what you would have expected from flying a helicopter. The new helicopter physics model is just that, all new. It is not based on the old airplane physics at all. This allows the player to fly the helicopters in ways that are more natural and expected. You can sit in a hover as long as you like or you can rotate in place. You can strafe sideways and back again if you like. You can fly backwards, etc. Whatever you’ve seen or heard can be done with a helicopter; you can do that with ours. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

sounds nothing like DC controls to me, sounds better.Vietnam Goes Gold That's right, it won't be long until you have your hands on Battlefield Vietnam! More >>

'[AHSgt. Stu'] You can sit in a hover as long as you like or you can rotate in place. You can strafe sideways and back again if you like.

Umm, I can do that now in DC. If you keep the control of the helis in DC you can do almost anything with them. I'm not saying I'm an expert, as I've seen many people alot better with 'em than what I am, but with a little practice practice practice, you too can fly with the big boys. :nodding:

I am an expert flyer in DC and EoD (no meaning to brag) but the sound of a new and better control system sounds better to me than air-plane physics model.
