I recently bought a joystick with Force Feedback. All the controls seem to work perfectly except the vibrations feature. Does anyone know if Force Feedback works on this game(BF1942)? Thanks!

Top Gun Fox 2 Pro Shock. The feature states it's compatible to ALL Force Feedback games. Just curious, does your Force Feedback work on this game? Thanks!

well...i wasnt quite sure about this, so i reseached it. I found only one thing that talked about it. It just stated they didnt recomend buying a joystick with force feedback, because it messes with your flying. That is the only info i could find. I know it doesnt help much, but it seems to me by looking at this, then it is compatible...but i have no idea which controllers and what not. Sorry... wish i could be more help!

It's okay. Thanks for the research anyway, as I did the same thing. I posted the question at another forum and several responses were that "no", this game doesn't have Force Feedback support. Thanks again!

IMO, this game seriously needs to support force feedback, and I consider it just plain silly that it does not. Force feedback is actually very helpful in a lot of games. It can let you know what sort of terrain you're on, wether you're bumping into something immobile, if you're taking damage and what kind. I can't think it would interfere with flying much at all, since most force feedback is rather subtle and doesn't seem to be a problem. It would also seem far more realistic if your zero is diving at a ship, you pull the trigger, and the whole plane vibrates as the MG's fire...which was exactly what happened in the war. I think that explanation is just a cop-out on EA's part for failing to include such a universally expected feature.

I've already sent a message to EA suggesting force feedback support be added in. You can always disable it if it DOES interfere with your gaming, and I doubt it would. But it COULD make your gaming experience a whole lot more immersive and fun. :) Feel free to ask EA to please include Force Feedback support with the next patch.

Sincerely, Da Loon

I use an MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick and it's no problem, only thing that doesn't work are the vibrations but what does it matter, at least all controls work.
