I was wondering if anyone else feels lag when they're say in large numbers of soldiers. Not connection lag but the game itself. Like for example I was playing an Omaha yesterday with 40 people and when I went with my squad up the hill (about 15 of em) it seemed to go really slow. Is this because of my video card? Same thing happens in SP. If I'm around a lot of people it seems to slow down.

I had 256 megs of memory. I bought 2 512 chips and haven't had any problems since... I was told it had to do with the memory

I get that too and I have 512 MB of RAM. I think it is just a problem with the game. It doesn't happen if a play a big level like El Alamein. It must just happen if a large amount of bots are all fighting at once in a small area.

I got 1 gig pc800(rambus) and a gforce 4 ti4600 and never get that problem. I have seen the problem with low end video cards and you can sometimes fix it by running you settings lower and adjust you sound settings also. If possible what gfx card do you have and what framrates are you getting. I would try to get another 256 or 512 chip that is if you MB can hold it and maybe a new video card depending on what you got. You my also want to try updating you drivers for video and sound.

i dont think its a game .... problem, as much is it is pc demanding. Im sure if you had 9700 w/ 512 ram (which is PLENTY for gaming purposes) amd a AMD xp 3000+. I know it wouldnt be a problem then. Did you guys know, the ones of you that have a gig or more of memory, you actually LOSE performance in gaming. THere are benchmark tests and programs to download so that you can bench mark yourself, but you will see that there is a performance loss going from 512 to 1gig and soo on. The only reason you would need that much to begin with if it were a server or your were big on video editing (stuff that actually utiliuzes that much memory, not games).

So buying a stick of 256 would be too much? I have a GF4ti4200. 1.8ghz amd atholon xp 2200+ When im flying i get 50 to 99 fps but when in a tank i get 30 or less. Ill try my settings lower and see what happens.
