Hi guys,

At some stage you have installed a plugin for IE that lets it open .TGA's.

I have attached a screenshot, this is what mine does when I try to open .TGA's, it doesn't have the correct plugin and therefore tries to open them with a closest match plugin, which fails, and many other ppl would have the same problem, that's why using IE as a generic image viewer is not practical, there are many ppl who don't have the required plugins, so saying "use IE to open them" will just cause problems for ppl when it doesn't work.

I know the image viewer's I recommend support opening '.TGA's and converting them to .JPG's for posting on the forums, but there's no way to know if someones IE will open them, and IE won't convert them!

The vanilla installation of IE won't open JPG's, there, is that better?

have fun guys

Well... I guess it is time to get updated, don't you think? After all it is 2003.

Why on earth would I update my IE (which I might point out I don't even use, I am an Opera user) to act as a half c0cked, read only! default TGA viewing program when I have a full version of PSP that will open and convert over 60 different file formats. Methinks you are absolutely mad!

Why would I open screenshots in IE, it doesn't allow you to zoom in or out, crop, cut, edit or convert anything to anything    .

When I stop laughing I must go and get a drink to calm me down

Use the tools designed for the job. IE is a poor browser with as many security holes my old sock drawer.

I haven't laughed this much since...since...I don't think I have ever laughed this much

have fun

Ok apocalypse kid... This is getting out of hand... We are not talking about some big great program you have. smkorvette just wants something to see his screen shots with. All we are saying is, smkorvette CAN use IE to look at them. If smkorvette needs a plug in thats fine... All he has to do is get it. Anyhow...

Here is a screen shot with useing IE smkorvette
