Are you using a joystick or a keyboard/mouse combo? I didn't seem to have the control w/ the keyboard and mouse and invested in a Logictech Wingman Extreme 3D ($30 at Wally World).

Flying isn't easy at first, but practice makes perfect, or until an AA knocks you out. Use your throttle to maintain certain heights...that's key.

It's hard to really elaborate until we know what you're using to fly. Keyboard and mouse, I can't help....joystick is a different story...much easier to learn.

You don't always need to be in a server with a lot of other people to practice....I decided to host my own game and have an experienced pilot-friend hop on and kinda be my eyes from the ground.

Also, toy around with your camera angles. Usually, when I hop in, I press F9 to still get a front-end view but without looking out the windows...kinda broadens my viewing area of the battlefield.

If you have questions, email me at creeper@mazx.com cause I don't really check these forums often.

It jsut takes A LOT of practice...i think its pretty cheeZZy the way the controls work if you want to compare it to something like Operation Flashpoint....

biggest tip u could ever learn about flyuing is dont tilt the stick to either side when turning until u learn to control the tail rotor for turns. the choppers turn in one direction when u turn until u turn the rotor the other way. when u go to make a turn make the turn but almost imediatly give the rotor control a twist the other way to balance it out. choppers rarely need full throttle. they are easier to fly and control at about 75% throttle. tyhe chopper can dive like a plane, fly backwards, sideways, even do loops if u learn to control it correctly. try loading up a few of the dc maps in co-op and playing against the bots. thsat what fixed the problem for me.

Thanx for your advices.

But to specify my problem a little bit a can mension that its rotate that I find difficult. When I try rotate the chopper just leans to the side. I cant get it to just rotate. I use keyboard and mouse when playing. Any ideas what I´m doing wrong?

Actually the keything to flying is watching ur pitch and roll. If you start to lean to the left to much then adjust ur roll. I use a only 2 axis joystick and I use two buttons for left and right rudder, but to be effective in copter YOU MUST use roll as the main axis on a 2 axis joystick, and I have no idea how people do it on a keyboard. Basically its just practice practice practice, and I do not touch my throttle once throughout the whole game. If you want to go lower lean ur nose down into a steady downward flight. No need in messing with your throttle you will just get confused. My avg is like 12 kill to 1 death.(damn AA) GL
