I made a movie and wanted to send it into bf1942files.com but when I go to Zip the movie it goes from 27 megs to 26.9 megs in size. This is if I send it to a compressed (zipped) folder. I have also used WINRAR and WINZIP with the same results. Can someone help me cut down the size of my movie so it is sendable to bf1942fiels.com?

Thanks, Ratdart

Theres an option before you compress, usually something like good, better, best. The best will make it a small as possible but take longer to compress. Video files are hard to make much smaller though so it will still be relatively large.

Depending on the format you used:

If you used Mpeg, which you probably should have because its the smallest, then it is already almost as compressed as your going to get it. Thats what mpeg is designed for, for showing compacted videos. If you used AVI's which are several times bigger, you should be able to compress it alot and you might want to check your settings on winzip.
