Hello All I am new to the forum, and I like what I have read. A lot of great information here. Thx, to eveyone that contributes.

For those of you that use a joystick to fly, which do you use, and/or which would you recommend.

I have a cheap priced one (rockfire) the control is very loose and sloppy. I am all over the sky, although i must admit, I am learning to do much better....finally....

I want to buy a better stick, but like most of us, not pay an arm and a leg for it.....unless I have to...

Any suggestion or comments....and yes I understand practice, practice, and more practice. I do that playing Coral Sea.

My favorite map is Invasion of the philippines, although I like a bunch of the others. Oh yes, I have been playing BF for about 3 months. (not the flying tho)

Thx Magoo

I know its expensive, but the SideWinder Force Feedback 2 is freaking awesome. I also like the SideWinder Precision Pro. I know a lotta people don't like to give M$ their money, so I also hear that Saitek joysticks are comfortable and handle great, although I don't know how expensive they are.

Thank you for the reply Tankertux, I am checking out the Sticks you mentioned now. The Sidwinder runs $51 to $80+, and the Saitek $ about 30 to 60, not bad for either. I may go with the Saitek, but want to read some reviews...if I can find them on the web.

At any rate if I get the Saitek, I will let you know how it works out.

thanks again.
