Just when we thought Koin could do no wrong, he decides to get artsy fartsy on us. What in the hell was he thinkin? Was he tryin to win an oscar? Does anyone else agree with me that what we loved about his films was the fast pased action set to music? Of all the directions he could have gone with his new found following; he had to make a tearjerker. Laughter, thats what we want! amaze me! more music! more explosions! I know what your going to say Koin; "You dont like it? make your own fu%$!ng movie?". Koin, my friend, You are the man, but cant you see the difference? You gave us 3 blockbusters, and now this. I know I am not alone, Please bring us more realtime action. Maybe every stunt has been done, maybe you guys are out of crazy stuff to do. You have skillz take them in another direction. I have checked your stats on your site, how bout recording a match. Edit it down and set it to music. Anything but Saving Private Ryan. Koin Fan

He may catch enough hell after this to go back to the good stuff. Critics like us are what sucks for anyone trying to enjoy their 15min of fame. Its like makin straight A's for so long, then you make a D- and your piers think your on drugs. Koin was smokin crack if he thinks that was as good as the doubled-over laughter, his other work brought. I think we have a rare talent in Koin, he is far from finished. The best is yet to come.

It doesn't suck, but it's way less enjoyable than 'owned' IMO.

Koin and his crew did a very good job on this film, as far as filming goes, but it just wasn't a very expected change from their "super-cool stunt flicks."

The Hero is a movie as compared to "music videos" like the previous ones. I think that Hero is a masterpeice. Of course, the story is a bit too unreal (but what the hell: all hollywood movies are like that). It had great camera angles, and some really good shots of various animations that you usually won't even notice while you play the game.

My gripe is it was often way too muted. Lack of ambient sounds, quiet music or no music at all. The short film was quite an achievement visually (a lot of work goes into putting those shots together) but I got bored through a lot of it and would've preferred to have some more going on with the audio. Still a fine piece of work though.

Well i liked it too...

ok it wasn't very realistic... like in that part when he runs through that alley... and a guy with a machinegun is firing on him... if u misses from 3 meters wile lying... man even complete nOObs can hit such a guy...

But the story was kinda cool...
