This is just a sudden thought, but, i think there wont be much realism in battlefield vietnam

judging on how battlefield 1942 turned out in realistic measures, it wasnt all that good

Does anyone think battlefield vietnam will be the same?

(not to offend anyone in any way, some people are offended easily)

You know Ketch, there are other threads like this. ONTOPIC. The thing to remember with video games is, IT, IS, A, GAME! If you want realistic, go get HalfLife 2 when it comes out but don't rag about these games being "unrealistic", there suposed to be fun. Ah if you also want something that is more real than Battlefield 1942 (or Battlefield Vietnam for that matter) then go download Americas Army.

I was thinking along the same lines: a single chopper picks up a tank with a five-inch chain, and carries it away.

However, unlike the people who look at this and say: "GAH! Realism!!" I am proudly part of the croud that says "STFU! Its a GAME!".

The above mentioned detail is among the chief reasons Im going to buy BF:V. I mean really, how cool is that??? Carrying a tank with a chopper??

I can already imagine it: "Requesting resupply! Over." "Roger that!" (a Heli comes ove the horizon, drops a tank...)

or: "Get me the hell out of here! Im the smoking tank being chased!!!" "Roger! Incoming!"

O the posibilities...

i think that BFV will kick ass, when you say it won't be realistic, do you mean historical realness or graphics realness?

Am I the only one who wants to use tanks and jeeps as bombs? I also wonder who will get the first team-kill by accidentally dropping one on a mate
