Well in stead of insulting you and telling you to refer to a some other page ill help you out. I personally use a program called FRAPS. Go here www.fraps.com and download it. Its pretty self explanitory and the movies come out nice and clear.:)

To use Fraps you have to change ingame resolution to 800x600 maximum otherwise your saved .avi's will have half the picture cropped also bear in mind that a 10 second clip will be somewhere around the 200meg size so compressing in essential, Virtualdub is very good for this in conjunction with the latest Divx Codec. I have two 4 minute videos now of stunts and a clips folder nearly 3 gig...lol ( compressed ), be warned, once you start its hard to stop and havent played a regular game for weeks!.

P.S 4 minute vid at high quality = 50 odd meg!.

I have my BF set to minimum settings, and still it lags horribly, anyone know how to decrease video FPS or texture quality beyond minimum settings.

what kind of computer do you have????

if you use openGL, i know there is a program to 'numb' the graphics to specific types, but generally, its used to make it look odd. it might be able to help though
