just wanted to thank you again for the flying lessons. after you left i played a local game and practiced flying. i found out that my biggest mistake was using the 'chase rear' view. no way i could fly it that way; absolutely no feel for what the chopper is doing. i switched to first person without the cockpit and it was much easier.

thanks again man. :)

Oh mr. Greg, thankyou, I now know basic chopper handling and regretably air spining in the hind, but now I can play dc and not be afraid to go near those flying things that used to scare me before!

Mr. Greg should start charging for pilot lessons...lol but for just helpfull tip, I too couldn't fly a DC chopper any better than a wet-behind the ears nOOb for a long long time, what helped me was going into EoD and getting used to those choppers (took about a night) and then going back to DC and doing it, now mind you I cannot fly the choppers probably anywhere near as well as Greg but, I can make lotsa kills in them PS Mr. Greg do you go by G R E G ingame? just wondering cause i played Lost Village the other night and had a wicked BH pilot with that tag. He kepts us safe enough for me to rack up 43 kills and 0 deaths...we changed choppers I think once, and for me that is like a miracle because I still manage to have my deaths in that map higher than my kills...of course I never did set foot in the village that time:lol:

Whew...big thread. You people are up too early. =P

Anyways...to all the people who thanked me, you're welcome. Choppers can be complicated, but are one of the most fun things to use in DC.

Ditchhopper: You looked like you could fly just fine to me. =p

Still , if you need pointers, next time I host I'll give you some.

CorporalLee: Come in our next game. I'll probably host one around 6-7 Pm CST tonight, try and stop by.

Cpt_Nukem: I used to run by Mr. Greg, but now that I finally learned that the command to change names In-Game is "name" not "nick" or anything I'm used to (Be quiet...I played a lot of FPS before BF =p), I go by BF1942Files|Mr. Greg now.

all u need to know with choppers is if you ever start to loose control, move the mouse/joystick in the oposite direction that yer twisting/flipping towards

EG if your flipping left and cant stop, move the joystick/mouse right, also move the rudder right.
