Do you prefer to play with FF on or off?

This is prompted by a new player who thinks it should always be off to prevent TK'ing (accidental - he didn't do it on purpose - honest!)

have fun guys

I'd say FF on, because that way it improves your skills, and it makes you think more about it. FF off isn't that good, because that means you probably can't kill yourself as well, and that means you can throw an expack 2 meters away and blow it, and you won't get hurt but you will get a kill.

Cain't say I do either man, but I would rather it be on. If there are alot of tker's in a room, I just type ptk in the console & they get a longer spawn time. :D Now it doesn't work on all servers, but it does on most. :p

That is not correct. The friendly fire you can set in the menu is small arms, Soldier friendly fire on splash is set in a file in the BF directory and can not be altered from the menu and that is what controls splash damage.

I don't pay that much attention, but would prefer to play with it off. I have run across tons of TKers in my first couple of weeks, and it really ruins a game. I have enough grief from the enemy thanks!

Having it off also saved me from killing a team-mate when confused. I had played axis for a couple games, then switched and forgot to stop shooting blue :) Ooops! Many apologies uttered.

That is not fully correct either. Its not just small arms, its bullets. like with no ff and your in a sherman, and you shoot your teammate with the right mouse botten (bullets) it dont heart him. and i really dont think that gun in the sherman is a small arm. anyway, i prefer servers that dont have ff.
