Another reason Nvidia owns: all Nvidia cards have stereo drivers, which allows you to use stereoscopic 3D glasses like the one's from eDimensional. New ATI cards don't have these stereo drivers therefore the 3D glasses can't work.....simply put, ATI is inferior to Nvidia.:cya:

I have an ATI RADEON 8500, the best card ever now is (statistikly) ATI RADEON 9700. But I don't really see any difference between the two cards :uhoh:

ive read the reviews, seen the specs, heard it all... the new GeForce FX 0wnz any card in existence. read em' and weep :deal:

"The world’s first 500MHz GPU is able to compute 375 million programmable vertices per second; 4 billion pixels per second; and 16 billion AA samples per second. And with the world’s first 1Ghz DDR2 memories, GeForce FX features the fastest frame buffer ever designed. Complete support for AGP8X and NVIDIA patent pending Intellisample™ technology ensures developers are able to create scenes of unrivaled beauty at unmatched speeds" :naughty: as u can see its the fastest card ever made...

jeez you guys act like you already have a GeforceFX. why dont you wait until it is released until you post stuff like this (like anyone will care then) and then you can back up those statments with proof. I have both Radeon and NVIDIA cards. They are both great. Why are you putting down ATI? If you dont like one card then dont buy it. Dont buy the other one and then act like you own part of the companies card you own so you have to insult the other card because it doesnt meet some requirment you read on a web page. You dont know what Radeon will do to compete with this card and it could be better. Who knows?

And you all miss a HUGE point here about ATI. Without ATI we would all still running GeForce 2 Video cards cause Nvidia would have had no reason to push the envelope. It's just like Intel and AMD. If AMD hadn't come along with the Athlon 1 Ghz when it did we would all be still waiting for our 2Ghz+ wonder machines and battlefield 1942 would run at about 10 frames a second.

Healthy Competition is good. Sure push your own views guys but don't relegate ATI to the scrap heap just cause Nvidia is bringing out something new. As sure as anything ATI is already planning it's FX killer that will be twice as fast, support things that we haven't even heard of at the moment, (and will probably never see in use) and then the price of the new FX chips will drop so I can afford one! Yahoo.

Have fun
