the time right now in california is 3:56pm (subject to change).
My computer has changed a little.
This is all very well but where does money come into all this, yes battlefields a great game but I ask you, how often would you want to play single player with 64 bots when their intelligance is crap - You'd be better off getting broadband and moderately improving your PC. If your like me you won't have the money to spend on the bleeding each of graphics cards and prosessor technology, and to be hounest your not getting the same value for money once you start heading up anyway. I reckon if you want to get a good speed without breaking the bank go for this...
AMD Athlon 2000+ (AMD's are cheaper than pentiums if you didn't know, and work well)
512mb Ram (This is pretty cheap and 512mb is a good solid ammount)
Hard Drive (Not really Important but 30gigs is useful just for the fact they fill up with crap)
Geforce 4 Ti200 APG X8. (I wouldn't go above this because once you do, your getting less bang for your buck - this card is a pretty good all rounder and you can get it in a pack with loads of extra goodies, mine set me back about £120 and I got morrowind 3 and 2 other good games with it, as well as useful TV adapters and other extras, best of all It's made by MSI who are a good quality).
Lastly get broadband, there is no point in making a load of changes without it, 64 player will always run slow and the money you save on not buying ridiculas £260 graphics cards will buy you a nice connection for a while. Sell your old PC, cling onto the monitor, and ride to freedom!
P3 600mhz 512 RAM Sound Blaster Live Gainward 64mb TI4200 G-force 4 19" Viewsonic Monitor Plextor 24x10x40 burner Hitachi DVD Rom
No problems running the game once I upgraded from 256 of ram to 512.
I will be building a new machine for myself after the summer.
