Heres a good idea:frog: How about making the exppacks sticky, so that they dont float off the map when something explodes nearby and you could stick them to tanks.:dance:

My g/f came up with a good idea a few days back. Having the class "back packs" lined up on a wall or bench in the barracks. Allowing you to change class without waiting to die, or stripping it off of an enemy or fallen comrade. But if that com point in neutral, no "back packs" will be available untill captured.

She also thought of having hangers and repair platforms do no repairs/re-arm if that point is neutral. If owned by Axis, only services Axis, if owned by Allies, only services Alies. It sure would cut down on hanger/rep-platform camping :agreed:

how about a middle ages mod .. instead of thanks you would ride a horse , or operate some sort of siege machinery like siege towers , catapult and ballistas , the classes would be :

swords man : melee fighter good at close range and strong armor relatibly fast and could climb ladders/siege ladders

archer:self explanatory ,you would have a bow and could change between fire arrows , regular and poison , you would have a knife as a side weapon

knight: ablility to ride horses more effectivly than all classes , would have stronger armor and wider shield (i'll explain some of this later) would carry trowing knife but would not be able to climb ladders and would move slower

medic: self explanatory , but would have the abilty to infect enemy soldiers with desease (yes i got the idea from team fortress , and would have a mid size sword to defend himself

engingeer : could build/repair all siege equipment and castle walls would alse be able to set traps like bear traps , cord trigered bulders falling on attacking soldiers etc.

maybe a wizard/summoner/necromancer? but this would take it away from realistic

the mission of the game would be to defend the king (wich would be computer controled ) that would be sitting inside the stronghold the king would have some computer operated bodyguards(because i know nobody would stay there to defend the king anyways)and the king would be a formidable fighter to the end ...

anymore ideas? i have a few but my fingers hurt from typing

i forgot , the make the melee combat interesting you would swing your blade with left click and would use a block/useshield with right click so with thesee you could block incommming arrows and block sword attacks , also you could duck bellow high swings to improve strategy to combat a deadly head blow (use radom numbers considering armor and size of attacking weapons )would be instant kill

repair pads in enemy bases should only repair enemy-driven tanks. This would completely stop people camping on them and would be more realistic: why would support crew repair their enemy's vehicles??

i think a veichile you could transport you veichiles over water would be nice :), ive suggested a few things for DC mod .3 like a Chinook and a Wolverine 104

i post this, beacause in bf there is a lack of support veicles, like there is Long range support and all, but no REAL support, in the Wars, EVERY mssion couldn't be just "Done", like take ohma beach for eg, th place got bombed the sh*t out of by the allies, all thoughs tank blockers had to be mad and all, basically so we need more supportive veichles, and for a nother mod or to i think there should be a "Builder", soo that they can go, dig tenches, make "tank stoppers" build sandbag walls and all. and the othere is ediatble in-game terrain, so if u shell a wall, it falls over, if you trough a grenade into the sand, it makes a dimple.

And while im on it, one thing that really shits me about bf, is with the granes and "Pipe bombs" in game the blast radius is like 2m, in real life the REAL blast radius was like about 10m, big diff ehy
