Hi, Having started playing battlefield 1942 today, could someone tell me how or if the games can be saved. I have been playing single missions and have completed 4 of them, i thought they saved at the end, however when i turn on the game again they have all gone and i am back to the first level. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

ummm....... I kinda' confused with ya there. Mine always save automatically. You should try going online though. The single missions are just a bunch of conquest games. Online you can learn lots of stuff from other players, have a little bit stiffer competition, and the other players listen to you, unlike the stupid AI.

You only get a type of auto save feature in SP Campaign Mode where each victory unlocks the next map I think (not having played SP much), but in Single Player Instant Battle Mode each map is played as an individual game with no relation to any other games or matches, so there is no saving as such, it's just a form of practice.

Have fun
