Seen my "Why..." thread in the R&R forum? There's always way too many scouts no matter what map (except Wake Island). Now that Desert Combat has support and spec ops, there are fewer snipers in DC than BF, and it's really funny how people use the mortors as an attacking weapon- run up to an enemy, deploy a mortor and shoot one 15 feet in front of you to take out the enemy...hahaha.

I know it's a game, but some people treat certain weapons and classes the wrong way, oh well. :)

Man that pistol is useless. 3 head shots to kill them?? It takes practically the full magazine to kill them. And if you're out of ammo then you're out of luck is that it? And c'mon why can't you aim right above the scope, all you have to do is judge how higher or lower the bullet would hit from where you're shooting above the scope.

And I never thought I'd see the day where sniper rifles were stronger than bazookas.A bazooka can deal all that damage to a tank but when you shoot it at the ground it's weaker than a grenade :lol:

*SIGH* Read my lips: BF1942 is NOT realistic, it's been made the way it is to balance out the classes and make the whole game enjoyable.

If they made rockets like they are in reality 60% or so of the people playing BF42 would do it the way they play Quake 3 RocketArena.

Well DUH! gamebalance should prevail above all else. The pistool is fine in my opinion, I make plenty of kills with it constantly just using 1 clip per enemy. :)

Oh yeah that's REAAAALLY balanced! A full clip for a pistol but not a full clip for an SMG or an MG, there's your balance :p Hey while we're at game balance, let's make it so it takes FOUR bombs to kill you from a Stuka:lol: After all bombs are too strong we have to make it fair. Hey hey I got a better one! Make the B17 drop watermelons! That would take away the cheapness of bombs altogether.

You actually have a problem with the pistol? Of course its gonna take more bullets than an SMG to get a kill, its meant to be used as a last resort close encounter weapon not an assault gun for crying out loud.

It may take almost a full clip sometimes but it fires quickly and is VERY accurate, i can usually kill someone with the pistol in a matter of seconds, a lot of the time faster than they can kill me with an SMG.

As said before bf1942 is not realistic, so you shouldn't expect realistic things from it. If you do expect stuff like that then you are playing the wrong game, perhaps Operation Flashpoint would be more to your liking?

I never saw the ASS class before. Is that when you camp right next to a base and spawn kill? LOL
