I don't trust people who say Gamespy sucks. I'll have my eye on you.
Gamespy does suck with all the Ads. Use all seeing eye no ads and you dont have to register. IM sure my Boss BallBuster doesnt care what you say Omega.
That's the great thing about being skilled. All I needed to do was win a tournament on Gamespy Arcade and I got a free registration.
And note the difference between Gamespy and Gamespy Arcade. Gamespy is a very, very good website that does NOT suck. Gamespy Arcade has its flaws, but I love it. I have never used the all-seeing eye, but I don't see how it can best GSA. Maybe I should try this program out so I can make an accurate comparison.
Try Q tracker on our website. www.mohm.com i use it too keep track of all the DOA members. When a player is found on a server a pop up comes up and says player found. ASE and Q tracker i use.
Well, I've examined the ASE program and my opinion stands. First thing I noticed was that you still need to register the software in order to recieve all the benefits. $10 for a year-long subscription and $30 for a lifetime registration (GSA's price is $20 for lifetime.) Granted, there were no ads, but that is about the only advantage I could see. There were no parlor games that I could find, and no orginized tournaments either. If you can download demos off the all seeing eye, I sure couldn't find them. Can you offer a rebuttal?
No. I use it and i dont need all that fancy stuff because i use Q tracker to keep track of all of DOA. One thing i have found to increase framerate is turning down your view distance on the main video options menu. My game runs smooth so i dont need no fancy GF4 when i dont lag at ALL with a OC GF2mx400. BTW dont you need the demo of a game in order to play it on ASE?
I have a GeForce 4 because I like perfect graphics, which is what I get on BF1942.
And what do you mean when you say "dont you need the demo of a game in order to play it on ASE?" Of course you need the demo of a game to play it on ASE. Are you implying that it would be possible to play a demo of a game without downloading it first?
A GF4 is a waste of money. If i wanted to buy a video card id go on to Ubid.com and bid on one.Who needs a bigger video card when you dont lag with a GF2?
A waste of money, you say? Here, I'll explain to you the advantages of a GeForce 4
1. I can run max graphics settings (including %100 view distance) with no lag 2. When games become too demanding and your GF2 starts to lag, my GF4 will still be going strong
Just because I have the latest video card doesn't mean I am the kind of spender who puts down $300 just to get a processor that is 100mhz faster. In fact, before I upgraded, I had a GeForce 1, and if that is not a reason to update, I don't know what is.
