I don't need to see the chat because we coordinate over the phone. ;)

I have a 12 meg teaser movie with other stuff but I can't host it so if anyone wants it over AIM or MSN

I have now remixed it and added more stunts and I have a 3 minute long 48 meg video that just might be good enough to release to the community. I really want to know what some of you think, but I don't have a fancy e-mail account that will allow me to send files. Unfortunately I never made an account with my cable company and just hooked the line up.

I'll have to transfer over instant messenger which takes about 14 minutes

Do a forum search on making vids, there have been plenty of topics on the subject. In short Fraps / DivX Codec / VirtualDub work a treat on WinXP and a fast system and a new version of Fraps due out very soon will allow res up to 1024 plus sound. I have a 7.5 minute vid made by just two of us with plane / jet swaps but mainly jeep launching, the only trouble is I have to wait 3 weeks for adsl before I can upload it, it weighs in at 60 meg, which I dont think is that bad for somebody on a high speed connection. The quality is as good as ingame with no stuttering and recorded at 800x600, this res is prolly the best to use as you dont lose too much of the screen and get good detail. Once you have saved the VirtualDub settings you have found worked the best its easy just to load them each time you want to compress something using the Divx and the latest release of Fraps has also cut out the speed up / slow down anomaly that used to plague multiplay record :)
