think of the playstation 2 joystick, know those little thumb joystick things? they make flying easy, left hand thumb is rotate, right hand thumb is forward and reverse, then six button on the right and then 4 shoulder buttons on the top and a normal 4 way good for views
Hmm, I'm going to have to try that. I have a logitech dual action gamepad...it's very similar to the playstation gamepad. (I use it regularly for FIFA '04)
I never use my joystick in Battlefield. I did try it back when I first got the game, but I found that I'm much better with the keys & mouse. I wouldn't say I'm an Ace while flying, but I'm good enough to not crash before I leave the base.
i have a keyboard. *looks around*
Yes although force feedback doesnt work with BF1942, it's still the best joystick out there.
i am using sidewinder 3D pro plus. old but good.
I will tell you what joystick NOT to get!!! I tried ( returned it ) a logitech force feedback stick and found tit to have a fragile feel to it. Plus, it didnt center very well. The logitech 'force3' is cheaper and felt very sturdy.
Zab556Ok, my $20 logitech joystick has lived it's life and has ceased to work...so I want to know what joystick I should buy...and no, I can't use the keyboard and mouse...I just can't! :p I was thinking about the logitech wireless joystick...:uhm:
