Okay, hypothetically, I have this, er, friend, yeah thats it... I have this friend. If his K : D ratio goes any lower BFStats could crash due to a division by zero error.

What can I, er... he do to boost it. He gets decent number of kills, and tends to go for lots of flags, so is in the line of fire lots, but often ends up with LOTS of deaths while still being top 10 score in the game. The number of top 10's suggests he is not a total loser, but NEVER wins one-on-one battles with hand weapons, and seems to get killed too easily.

What is your killer suggestion for improving in BF1942? Don't stand still at all, ever? Learn to fly, as it seems to be the good pilots that get all the big K : D scores killing the likes of my, er... friend while he runs across large open spaces etc etc.

Help me, I mean him.

Had to edit as K : D without the spaces gives K:D, LOL

always run around aiming for the head no matter what, always be moving or atleast be in an enclosed area so snipers cant get u, pratice a hella lot, u dont gotta be a pilot to get lotsa kills. i win every 1 on 1 hand weapon battle i have ever been in. and when your in a firefight, always be jumping and moving around. i always win 1 on 1 fights because of my dodging skills. pratice pratice pratice.......goodluck

Well I cant say i have any killer tips for your friend, but here are a few that might help. as far as infantry goes runnin and shooting may get you shot less it really hinders your accuracy, i only move and shoot at the same time in close quarter situations, every other time its either kneeling or going prone to shoot. i also try to maintain the element of surprise as well, try and set yourself up in situations where the enemy cant see you well but your FOV has the advantage. As far as vehicles goes it is usually better to move and shoot at same time because u dont lose accuracy, if you want to stay put and shoot just make sure you're nicely concealed. Beyond that all I can say is practice, practice, practice, the more you play the better you'll get. btw if you want to see my stats they're listed under "overdone" on bftracks.com, I'm pretty much stuck on Desert Combat so they dont show up on bfstats. Anyways good luck and i hope this helps
