work as a team.. dont try to be, action man the greatest hero of them all!
lol, jump around crouching then laying down then jumping up again and swinging ur mouse everywhere, itll confuse em....i did it before, they stopped and just started running away lol
Well, the two most lucky things that happend to me were on Lost Village. I was coalition, as sniper. I was walking around between the building suddenly I hear shots from behind, so I jump, move around and then turn and my mouse accidently hit my keyboard (hit the button also) and gave him a headshot (with the m25). The second I was with the barreta and someone comes strait towards me with pkm and shoots non stop (in .39k), and I was jumping around in circles, moving and stuff like that. It took me 5 shots to kill him, with only 20% of life gone.
Fez, I hear ya, but I have only once or twice found myself in a game where people even responded to radio commands. I try to, picking people up and signalling for artillery etc., but it's annoying where you ask someone to follow you, or ask for reinforcements, and they run the other way.
More annoying still is when you are running to a jeep next to some guy and he hops in and drives off, while you are frantically pressing F2/F1 (I think that's right).
When I played on vanilla BF I got to the top 5% in stats, but I play DC now and I'm in Australia so the only polace my stats show is on csports, which currently puts me at 18,657 out of 160,000, so that makes me around the top 12%
In DC I usually play with the heavy machine gun. Dancing around in the open is wasting time, as soon as you see em just dive prone and fire, let the recoil track the bullets up the body and he's dead. If you run it not a room circle and shoot, the heavy machine gun is terrible for accuracy when moving, but it's so powerful it only needs a shot to get them. I rarely lose a one-on-one gunfight if we both see eachother at the same time. Course theo nes that shoot you in the back of the head give me problems sometimes, but I just hunt em down if they do that too often.
Oh yes, crossing open spaces on foot? Never if there is an alternative, even if you have to wait a few minutes for a vehicle to spawn, it's better than getting halfway across and then dying, you don't help you team by dying in the middle of desert.
have fun all
:cya: :cya: :cya:
Yeah, I hear ya, I do spend too much time on the open, er... as does my friend I believe.
Last night I messed with the options and changed my cursor color, remapped some keys, and adjusted the mouse sensitivity, seemed to help, especially in tanks, did quite well last night, 1:1 K : D anyway, which is better than the .45 rating I have on BFStats.
Had a great game on a fast CDN server. I joined right at the start of a round (IDEAL) when there were 7 people, figuring more would join on such a low ping. Got the flipping Gold but no-one else ever joined, so not recorded :( BAH!
dude, we all know it is you. no need to be posting it as ur friend. and ur a newb still, dont be ashamed of ur score. wait, u been playing awhile actually and u might crash bfstats, u should be ashamed. jking! man i kid around too much...
...i see you did some new key mapping...tell your buddy to do this as well! lol! i suggest mapping the prone (dive) key to 'F', this makes for a faster dive when in those one on one situations and being on the ground you get better accuracy.
of course flying can really increase your K : D ratio but unless there are aircraft just sittin there...lets just say i wouldnt camp for aircraft...i cant stand that!
Actually I did remap prone to "F", LOL.
What's worse than camping for planes is the idiots who take available vehicles and drive them to the plances then abandon them. On maps with few vehicles it really slows the deployment of your team on the map.
i left mine as Z, all the other fps games i play have it as Z, so my hand is made for that..
