Any modders out there about to overcome to 6 ship limit? The only way I can think is the rebuild the Free For All script and add in extra ships to the map or something.
I've tried openning SFC3.exe in a hex editor, going to the bit where all the text is and searching for 06. I replaces most of them with 0F or 12 but none of them were the right byte.
There has to be an easier way. Has anyone done this? Or found a way to add maps for that matter? Does the SFC1/2 script editor work with SFC3 scripts and without VC++?
Come on, I've heard of someone doing this in a mod. 205 views and no replies =/
I asked this awhile back too. I am amazed that no one is capable of overcoming this. Truly amazed.
Then if your "amazed" that no one has over come it then how come you haven't over come it and shared with us the bliss that is no six ship limit in SFC3
i have asked how if it can be done before aswell
Because I'm not a programmer, and I have no idea how to do it. Obviously.
"I am amazed that no one is capable of overcoming this. Truly amazed." means you have the solution or your insulting those of us who are programmers
No, it does not mean that at all. I said the words so I know what they mean. I am amazed that it's so hard to overcome. It's very simple. Don't search for hidden meanings in my words because they aren't there. I said, what I said. Now this is the end of it. You misunderstood, I corrected. Case closed.
But how am I supposed to know what you meant. And if your "amazed" that its a difficult task how come you didn't say that you said you were "amazed no one is capable" I appaerntly mistoke that as an insult and the "Truly amazed" part seemed to verify it as such.
I suggest next time "think before you type"
Finally I suggest that the moderator lock this thread because its getting off subject
I find it sadly ironic that you want you have this thread locked for straying off topic, even though it was you who helped steer it off the topic in question in the first place. Well done.
