How does that get rid of the 6 ship limit? All I can see is that it will erase all your custom ships, and cause SFC3 to either crash or use an internal defaultloudout/defaultcore.
ur ships are stored in custom loadout trsut me default loadout removing the ns wont do anything
You're really not making any sense, what files do you replace or edit? No offence, but please try to keep typos to a mininum.
EDIT: That sounds like it just unlocks all the variants, like the Enterprise. That doesn't overcome the 6 ship limit.

So how do you unlock all those ships again? To be honest, I have virtually no experience in the field of modding SCF3. It would be much easier to do it the instructions were better!!
To Unlock all the ships (VARIANTS not any new ships) you remove NS in either the defaultcore or defaultloudout, can't remember which
To unlock Shuttles you simply put in "FF" instead of "SH" in defaultcore, you can use a similiar method to play as Starbases, Freighters, even planets. To unlock the Ferengi/Pirate ships, you chagne their political base in Defaultloudout from Ferengi or Pirate to Klingon (For Ferengi, so you get disruptors which are already on the ship) and Federation for Pirates (To get Phasers).
