Yeah it's like 720g to buy 150 training now. I got mine straight after getting 60, as I earned like 500g from 50-60 doing quests. I just farmed for a bit, sold lots of herbs and bought my horsie. Now everyone has black war mounts, but you still need the training.

I don't know if it's really necessary to buy one, though. You could spend time farming before TBC, but it's probably a better idea to upgrade your gear, to make the grind easier (instances are actually a really good way to get money too). An estimated gold gain in doing quests from 60-66 is around 2.5k gold, so you can always wait if you don't want to farm now.

That sounds so easy, even if I farm for one hour I don't get that large amounts of gold. Maybe I have to look for different areas to farm.

Do you know what the point of reputation with factions like frostwolf-clan is right now? Maybe they decrease costs for PvP-equipment?

If you obtain Honor rank, it reduces all costs from vendors of that faction by 10%; however I'm uncertain if that includes honor items, but I doubt it. Reputations are merely novelty-factors now; if you get Exalted with all four battlegrounds, you can get a rank, for instance. There's not much more to it.

(The fourth is Eye of the Storm; it's implemented in TBC, so no one has that title yet)

I prefer Hearthglen (Furthest to the north in WPL) or Tyr's Hand (Furthest to south-east in EPL) for farming gold. Elite humanoids that usually drop around 10-25ish silver and have good dropchance for rare items and greys.

Leveling isn't farming though. Quests give you between 3-6g reward, an item which you either vendor (the higher the items the higher the price), or use in which case you vendor your old one. Also, any items/gold you get while doing the quests contributes too.

or get a group together and farm where level 69-70+ npc's are. They drop burning crusade items.. like ones with a level requirement of 68+ to eqiup. You could probably even vendor them for quite a bit of cash, or try your chances on the auction house. You'd need a group to kill them, considering the level difference.

As melee-class it seems to be more effective to farm lower level humanoids.

Then I won't be able to use those new engineering-items of BC. [QUOTE=n0e;3477939]or get a group together and farm where level 69-70+ npc's are. That is an interesting idea, is there a chance to get green or blue items from those NCPs?

There is a chance to get any different variety of item, even epic. Though with the group you would be better off leveling up yourself and being able to get all the lewt for yourself. ;)

MrFancypants;3459989I'm thinking about reactivating my WoW-account, but I have a few questions: will the BC-addon have some free gamingtime included, like the free month you got with the original box? I also heard that older servers have a number of technical problems, is there a possiblity to transfer a character to a working server for free if technical problems occur? Were there any important changes of the Shaman-class? I stopped playing about a year ago.

i don't think you'd get free time when you get the box and about the transfer, you'll get it for free if the server has some real issues with it.:)
